Obituary of Jefferson Lynn Blaylock

Lugoff, SC - Jefferson Lynn Blaylock, age 67, went to be with his Savior and Lord Sunday,

October 6, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday,

October 8, 2024 at Harvest Baptist Church, 281 Wildwood Lane, Lugoff, S.C. The

family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Lynn was born on August 4, 1957 in Belen, New Mexico to Jefferson F. and Joy

Hall Blaylock.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jefferson F. Blaylock; sister, Kay Blaylock

Hobbs; brother, Hulon Blaylock.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 24 years, Mary Lynn Blaylock; seven children,

Destiny Blaylock of Lugoff SC , Thalia Campanella (Brandon) of Los Lunas, New

Mexico, Jefferson Blaylock (Rebecka) of Belen, New Mexico, Rondalyn Becker

(Joseph) of Belen, New Mexico, Jamie Shurtz of Lugoff ,SC, Stephanie McEaney

of Lugoff, SC and Angela Durant (Matthew) of Lugoff SC. As well as, eighteen

grandchildren; his mother Joy Faye Hall Blaylock of Los Lunas, New Mexico ;

and two sisters Thalia Blaylock Sucharda (Charles) of Billings , Montana and

Carlie Blaylock Otto of Powell, Wyoming.

He was a loving husband, father, papa and will be missed greatly by all who knew

him. He was a faithful member of Harvest Baptist Church, choir member, and he

loved to play his guitar and sing for his Lord. He was known by all who attended

as one who made them feel welcome and loved.
