CAMDEN – A memorial service for Gregory Leon Babcock, 78, will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Bethesda Presbyterian Church with inurnment to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Rosary will be held on Monday at 6:30pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Camden. Memorials may be made to Princeton’s Meow, 29 Brookwood Ave. N.E., Concord, N.C. 28025.




Mr. Babcock passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Born in Bradford, PA, he was the son of the late Robert Casey Babcock and Helen Jean Douthit Babcock. He was a Vietnam veteran and received the Bronze Star Medal.




Surviving is his wife, Cynthia Reynolds Babcock; brothers, Stephen Babcock (Sophie) and Matthew Babcock (Mary Beth); sisters, Barbara Madkins (Keith) and Mary Kay Wesselink (Jay); and several nieces and nephews.
