LUGOFF – A celebration of life service for Peter Glenn Ray, 67, will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Springvale Baptist Church. The Rev. Todd Horton and The Rev. Larry Frazier will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Ray passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Born in Camden, he was a son of Pete and Sara Dowey Ray. Mr. Ray was a member of Springvale Baptist Church and Sawney’s Creek Hunt Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening and spending time with his grandbabies.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Vicky Phillips Ray; son, Jeremy Wayne Ray (Heather) of Lugoff; grandchildren, Kinsley Ray and Easton Ray; aunts and uncles, cousins, close friends and his beloved dog, Tater.
