BETHUNE- A celebration of life service for Bryant Scott DeMarco, 59, will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church. The Rev. Tim Stevens will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

    Scott passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024. Born in Hampton, VA, he was a son of Everlene McDaniel DeMarco and the late Ralph DeMarco. Scott was an EMS and Firefighter and worked as a self-employed handy man. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed working with his hands, helping his community and above all, loved his family. He also enjoyed riding Harley Davidsons.

    In additon to his mother, Everlene M. DeMarco, he is survived by his son, Chris DeMarco (Fallon) of Rockhill and their children, Kylie Bree Bonnell and Blake Scott DeMarco; brother, Richard “Rick” Alan DeMarco (Lisa) of Clover and their children, John Anthony DeMarco (Alexis) of Corvallis and Carissa Elise DeMarco of Clover; sister, Denise DeMarco Steele (James) of Bethune and their children, Hannah Leann Thompson (Jacob) of Camden, Taylor Nell Steele of Camden, and Sean Roman Steele of Darlington; stepson, Ricky Russell (Amy) of Perry, FL and their children, Felicia Russell, Cortni Renee Russell, and Ricky Russell, Jr.; stepgrandchildren, Jordan DeMarco (Desoray) and Brandon Gudnason (Keely); stepdaughter, Shonna Craig of Rockhill, SC and her children, Hailey Craig (Chris) and Jacob Henderson; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Brandi Craig.
