Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Hutto

Columbia - A service to celebrate the life of Elizabeth Ann Hutto, 75, will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

 

Mrs. Hutto, wife of the late Rembert Hutto, passed away at home on Friday, September 13, 2024.  Born in Manchester, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Joe White Sr. and Bernice Gross White.  She was a faithful member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Clay County Historical Society in Kentucky.  Mrs. Hutto enjoyed cooking, gardening, music, shopping, a good joke, writing poetry and relaxing doing art work.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and Nana who cherished all of her family.

 

Surviving are her daughter, Heather H. Carnley (Wesley) of Irmo; step-daughters, Susan Mangum (Delance) of West Columbia and Robin Bolton (Robert) of Irmo; brothers, Lowell White, Letch White, Paul White, Ricky White, Russell White and Darrell White; sisters, Jessie Hazel White, Dee White Holland, Vada White Morris, and Vesta White Owens; granddaughter, Lena Carnley; grandsons, Kelly Matthews, Nick Matthews, Cameron Matthews, Rivers Matthews, Bobby Bolton and Cody Bolton; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by brothers, Joe White Jr., Elmer White, Larry White, Earl White, and Ralph White.
