CAMDEN – Funeral service for Cathy Anne Tidwell, 65, will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Mrs. Tidwell, wife of the late Robert Tidwell, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Edward Charlie and Elma Peebles Jordan. She was a LPN and formerly worked for Fairfield Health Care. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Tidwell loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her daughter, Wendy Tollison (David) of Camden; son, Chris Tidwell (Emily) of Camden; brother, Charles E. Jordan of Camden; and grandchildren, Brandy Tollison, Lauren Tollison and Drew Tollison. She was predeceased by a sister, Myra Jordan Downey.
