Obituary of James "Sonny" Branham

LUGOFF- James Everett “Sonny” Branham passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Born in Lee County, S.C., he was a son of James C. Branham and Ruby Lee Miles. Sonny retired from DuPont as a Quality Control Operator after 34 years of service. He was a member of El-Bethel Faith Community Church, where he faithfully served as the sound technician. He enjoyed doing yardwork and watching NASCAR.

    Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Ann Shipton “Bootsy” Branham; son, Chad Branham (Casey); grandchildren. Cody W. Branham, Kristen Mapp, Christopher Branham, Kaeleigh Branham, Kameron Branham; siblings, Shirley Jackson, Brenda Evans, Larry Branham; and 2 great-grandchildren.

       At the request of Sonny, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to El-Bethel Faith Community Church.
