Obituary of Francine Miller

CAMDEN-  A funeral service for Francine Miller, 74, will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Dennis Miller will officiate. A public viewing will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Miller, wife of the late Joe Davis Miller, passed away on July 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Bethune, she was a daughter of the late Willie an Rochelle Clark McCaskill. Mrs. Miller enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking.

     Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brenda Miller King (Johnny) of Camden, Randy Miller of Camden, Veronica Miller Strong of Lexington, N.C., Roberta Michelle Nelson (Wendell) of Lugoff, Britney Ransom (Jamel) of Camden, Cedric Peebles of Lexington, N.C.; siblings, Judy Hough (Isaac) of Bethune, Michael McCaskill (Melissa) of Camden, Angela Miller of S.C.; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Eddie Jr. Clark, Willie Ester King, Willie Lavern McCaskill, Billy Alvin McCaskill, Annie Bell McCaskill, Jerry McCaskill; and a great-granddaughter, Sadira Ny’vion Scott.
