Obituary of Clara Harper Reynolds
Clara Harper Reynolds, 6, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. Born in Columbia, SC, on November 30, 2017, she was the daughter of John “Dalton” Tucker and Carey “Alex” Reynolds. Clara was a student about to start the First Grade at Camden Elementary School in Camden. Clara was a sassy young lady who was wise beyond her years, she loved to do math and get others to ask her math questions. She loved to dance, to play sports, video games, swimming, Legos and anything Bluey, Minions or Baby Yoda. Clara had a heart of gold, she would leave her mom notes to find just to say, “I Love You”. She had a passion for animals and leaves behind a host of fur-babies. She would go golfing with her “Grand Dave” (Maternal Grandfather) to the golf course and would help her grandfather by retrieving the golf clubs out of the pond on the course.
Left to cherish her memories is her father, John “Dalton” Tucker (Kristen); mother, Carey “Alex” Reynolds; sisters, Noel Tucker, Sophia Tucker and Elizabeth Tucker; maternal grandparents, Dave and Kristi Amundson “Grand Dave and Kiki”, paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Lana Tucker and John Price “Memaw and Grand Pupu”; paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Johnny Tucker and Tiffy Taylor “Gigi and Papa”; paternal step-grandparents, Christa and Derek Carter “Gammy and Papaw”; maternal great-grandparents, Doris and Butch McKenzie “Gran and Papa” and Nancy and Del Nottingham “Nana and Papaw”; paternal great-grandparent, Charles Tucker “Poppy”; maternal aunts, Hannah Reynolds “Aunt Hannah” and Sydney Reynolds “Aunt Syd”; maternal uncle, Jacob Amundson “Uncle Jacob”; maternal great-aunt, Jennifer Newbold “Aunt Jen” (Chris); paternal aunts, Tonya Gollach (Mathew), Tiffany Tucker (Shane Crosby), Matthew Carter “Unky Monkey” and Mackenzie Faulkner “Aunt Bear Bear” (Dominic); her best friends, Evie, Kingsleigh and Josie; special cousin, Hayden Newbold; numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family; and her lovies (stuffed animals), Baby Yoda, Mushy and Merry. She was predeceased by her paternal great grandmother, Cheryl Tucker and maternal great-great grandmother, Sadie Bass “Granny Sadie”.
A service to celebrate Clara’s life will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 6 p.m. at Lugoff First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Thursday 4-6 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
