Obituary of Catherine Anne Reeves-Henderson

COLUMBIA- A funeral service for Catherine “Anne” Reeves-Henderson, 82, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries Bible-Thon.

    Mrs. Reeves-Henderson passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Elton Reeves and Catherine Hicks Reeves. Mrs. Reeves-Henderson was a media member of Family Worship Center. Anne enjoyed many activities with her husband, Ed, including golf, flying and especially scuba diving, including trips to the Bahamas and the Red Sea. As a mother, she greatly loved and cherished her children whether near or far away and spent many hours of her life praying for them.

    Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Edward B. “Ed” Henderson, Jr.; her children, Tami Hough (Chris) of Lugoff, Sherry Fox (Peter) of Camden, Rusty Shumate of Augusta, David Rosinger of Columbia; sister, India Boykin of Camden; brother, Tony Reeves (Nancy) of Camden; grandchildren, Sydney Fann, Corey Hough, Robbie Fox, Marty Fox; and 3 great-grandchildren.

    The most important part of her life was her personal relationship with Jesus Christ and she was a woman of great prayer.
