LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Tommy Neal Lester, 72, will be held on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kershaw County Council on Aging. Mr. Lester passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014. Born in Justice, WV, he was the son of the late Jesse Wayne and Myrtle Brown Lester. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Karen L. Lester; daughters, Barbara Johnson (Russell) and Jennifer Ellis (Terry); sons, Mark Lester (Sharen) and Jesse Lester; brother, Jerry F. Lester (Laura); sister, Patricia Lester (George); 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was predeceased by a brother, William Wayne Lester.
