Obituary of Gary Keith Kelley

Gary Keith Kelley, 80, of Elgin, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Born in Bainbridge, GA, he was the son of the late Marion and Gladys F. Kelley and the husband of Chun Hui Kelley. Gary was a proud US Army veteran, where he served in the Vietnam War. He eventually retired with the rank of Master Sergeant after over 22 years of faithful service. Gary was a loving husband and father who will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by his son, Marion Charles Kelley (Jofranna), of Simpsonville, SC; his daughter, Kandy Kelley Lockey of Iva, SC; grandchildren, Mitch Kelley, Summer Kelley, Cameron Kelley, Alyssa Fuchs, and Robert Lockey; great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Jace, Rollin, Colin, and Lila; and his siblings, Larry Kelley and Victoria McKenzie Kenney.

Gary will be laid to rest with full military honors at 1:00pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia.
