LUGOFF – Graveside service for Maureen Francis Beaver, 87, will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Quaker Cemetery, Camden. The Rev. Brian Ogburn will officiate. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to KershawHealth Hospice, Faith Church of the Nazerene or the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter. Mrs. Beaver, wife of the late Gordon Earl Beaver, died Monday, July 7, 2014. Born in Canal City, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Walter Preston and Katherine Lee Phipps Patrick. She was a member of Faith Nazarene Church and enjoyed sewing and gardening. Surviving are her daughters, Patty Jean Baker (Dave) of Camden and Kay F. Buhrow of Lugoff; sons, Robert Cox (Lori) of Lugoff, Larry Cox (Wanda) of Middletown, Ohio, and Mark Cox of Lugoff; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Bertell Smith and Marylan Patrick; and brothers, Justus Patrick, Walter Patrick, Jr., and Bing Patrick.
