Obituary of Garry William Royston

Pelion, S.C.- Garry William Royston, 81, formally of Telford, TN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, April 26, 2024. Born in Johnson City, TN, he was a son of the late George W. Royston and Celia Grindstaff Royston. Garry served in the U. S. Army and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Johnson City, TN. He enjoyed farming, camping, watching hummingbirds, and traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway in N.C. to see the Elk.

Surviving are his sons, Daniel Royston (Donna) of Camden, S.C, Rev. Jason Royston (Mandy) of Johnson City, TN; grandchildren, Devin Wallace (Nick), Jeremiah Royston, Sam Royston, Molly Royston; and several brothers and sisters.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
