Randolph Thomas Brabham Obituary

MANNING- Randolph Thomas “Randy” Brabham, 69, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late James Hampton Brabham, Sr. and Virginia Beard Brabham. Randy was also known as journalist Thom Brabham for WVOC radio, WSCQ radio and WIS radio in the 80’s and 90’s.


Surviving are his brother, Richard B. Brabham (Merri) of Bishopville; sister, Jenny Lynn Evans (Wayne) of Alcolu; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was predeceased by brothers, Joseph Brabham, Robert Glen “Bobby” Brabham, James H. “Jimmy” Brabham, Jr., Lemacks Franklin Brabham, and John Jerold Brabham.


A memorial service will be held at a late date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
