Lugoff – Funeral service for Michael Harvey Reynolds, 72, will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Angela Marshall will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church or Epworth Children’s Home.

Mr. Reynolds passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Born in Lee County, he was the son of the late Harvey Clyde Reynolds and Louise Brown Snider. He was the step-son of the late Frank Edward Snider.

Mike served in the United States Marine Corp and spent the majority of his career working at DuPont in Lugoff. After retiring from DuPont, he worked for several years as a sergeant for the South Carolina Department of Corrections. Mike enjoyed spending time at his place at Topsail Island, NC. He enjoy golfing, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church.

Mike is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Cameron Reynolds; daughters, Aprili Rena Reynolds (Kevin Ray Dean) and Kriston Reynolds Crain (Jonathan Michael) all of Lugoff; grandchildren, Colby Bryce Mursuli, Joshua Thomas Reynolds, Ashlynn Rene Reynolds, Logan Mason Crain and Lily Grace Crain; sister, Kay Snider Rush (Mark) of Camden; niece, Katie Elizabeth Rush; brothers-in-law, Carl Cameron and Leland Cameron of Lugoff; sister-in-law, Barbara Cameron Branham of Lugoff; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was predeceased by his parents; brother, James Richard “Jim” Reynolds; mother and father-in-law, Marie Heath Cameron and John Thomas Cameron; and brother-in-law, Donnie Branham.
