Obituary of AnQuan L. Dow

AnQuan Ladell Dow, 41, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Born in Camden, S.C., on October 12, 1982, he was the son of the late Annette Lanora Dow. Mr. Dow attended Camden Public Schools here he received his GED. He was a member of Evangelistic Community Center (under the leadership of Pastor Vivian D. Norwood). He played the drums there during his adolescence. He enjoyed shopping, drawing, playing with his nephew, traveling, building, and was very creative.

Left to cherish his memories is his sister and nephew, Shida Dow and Asiel Dow-Brown (respectively) of Camden, S.C.; aunts, Barbara Jasper of Camden, S.C., Leola Dow of Camden, S.C., Mary Kirkland (Francis) of Columbia, S.C., Bessie Dow of Camden, S.C., Pastor Vivian Norwood (Wendell) of Camden, S.C.,  Co-Pastor Marie Stewart of Columbia, S.C., Meola Dow of Camden, S.C.,  Dr. Katie Dow of Camden, S.C. and Rhonda Dow of Camden, S.C.; uncles, Larry Dow (Vernell) of Camden, S.C., Osteen Dow of Camden, S.C. and Richard Dow (Lula) of Camden, S.C.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Rosana Dow; grandfather, Richard C. Dow, Sr.; aunts, Susie Adams of Westville, N.J., and Rosana Dow of Camden, S.C. and uncles, Morris Dow of Camden, S.C. and Lewis Dow of Camden, S.C.

A service to celebrate the life of AnQuan will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.
