CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Lewis Calvin Holland, Sr., 71, will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The Rev. Ronnie Holland will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Kidney Foundation. Mr. Holland passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014. Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Fred Oscar and Blanche Rosanne Rogers Holland. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an avid Atlanta Braves Baseball fan. Surviving are his sons, Lewis C. Holland Jr. (Sheila D.) of Camden and Douglas Kirk Holland (Dee Dee Barr) of Camden; sisters, Ann Stokes (Bo), Louise Capell (Carl) and Lynn Tolbert (Steve); brothers, Johnny Holland (Odina), Ronnie E. Holland (Jean) and Eugene Holland (June); 4 grandchildren, Kasie, Lindsey, Abbe and Kirk Jr.; 4 great-grandchildren, Troy, Victoria, Ryan and Emilee; and his first wife, Frankie Holland. He was predeceased by a brother, Mack Holland.
