RIDGEWAY - Alva Gene Branham, 83, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born in Kershaw County, S.C., he was a son of the late Hebert Alvin Branham and Beatrice Jean Branham. Gene enjoyed traveling, camping, being on the lake with friends and boating.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Moore Branham; children, Dierdre Andrews, Ronald “Ronnie” Branham, Thomas “Tom” Branham (Leeanne), Herbert Branham (Ritza); step-children, Keith Toole, Tina “Sissy” Spires; siblings, Larry Branham (Christine), Muriel Drawdy (Luther), Michelle Fraizer (Anthony); 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Lake Wateree Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m. The family will recieve friends prior from the service from 1-2 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
