Obituary of David Hugh Boone

David Hugh Boone, 57, of Camden SC passed away at his home on Wednesday February 7, 2024.

Born July 8, 1966, David was the son of the late Hugh and Pauline Blalock Boone. He was a 1984 graduate of North Moore High School in Robbins, NC and served as a communications specialist in the North Carolina Army National Guard.

David worked for many years in the poultry industry and was currently working in food service. He possessed a tireless work ethic and was a kind soul who enjoyed helping people in need. David also enjoyed joking with family and friends.  

David is survived by his wife Diane; sister Tammy Cockman (Don) of Camden, SC; sisters Barbara Lamonds and Gay Christina of Biscoe, NC; sister Carol Lewis of Chocowinity, NC; sister Beverly Valley of Star, NC; brother Ronnie Boone of Eagle Springs, NC; sister Helen Murchison (David) of Bennettsville, SC; brother Charles Boone (Donna) of McColl, SC and many nieces and nephews.

Powers Funeral Home of Lugoff, SC is assisting the family. A memorial service for David is planned for 3 pm on February 25 at the funeral home located at 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.
