Obituary of Patricia Spivey Kelly

Patricia Spivey Kelly, 75, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Born June 08, 1948 in Camden, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Daniel and Floy Pauline Smith Spivey. Mrs. Kelly spent 22 years in Banking as an Insurance Clerk working for First Palmetto Bank before retiring in 2018. She was married to the late Kenneth T. Kelly for 53 years before his passing in 2018. She enjoyed flowers and ministering to those who were homebound but above all else she enjoyed being a mother and grandmother to her beloved family.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Spradley (Bryan); son, Ken Kelly; sister, Dannie Shirlene Hinson; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Kelly will be held Sunday, February 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. The Rev. Todd Horton and the Rev. Eric Boone will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
