Obituary of Sarah Evon Preston

Sarah Evon Preston, 60, of Camden, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, February 2, 2024. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of Margie Reddick Allen and the late Willie Preston, Sr. She graduated from Kershaw County Public Schools and attended Midlands Technical College. Sarah was a simple woman who loved cooking, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Sarah is survived by her mother, Margie Allen; her brother, Willie Preston, Jr.; nieces, Janetta Preston, Latasha Preston, and Sharonda Preston; as well as an uncle and a host of aunts, cousins, other family members and friends. She was predeceased by 6 uncles and 1 aunt.

A Homegoing Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
