CAMDEN – Funeral service for Nancy Orrie Steele, 62, will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff with burial to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens, West Columbia. The family will receive friends Sunday 1:30-3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Special Olympics. Miss Steele passed on Friday, June 20, 2014. Born in Wise, Va., she was the daughter of the late Rev. Carey LeVon Steele and Clairce Myrtle Caldwell Steele. She was a member of Hermitage Baptist Church and enjoyed arts, crafts, baking and cooking. Surviving are her sister, Joy Steele-Collins (Ronnie) of Camden; nephews, T.J. Cooper and Colton Autry; niece, Leah Cooper; and great nephews, Jayden and Kolby. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Matar, the KershawHealth ICU nursing staff, and KershawHealth Hospice for their loving care.
