Obituary of Barbara Ellen Everhart

Barbara Ellen Shaw Everhart, 81, of Lugoff, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Born in Chillicothe, OH, she was the daughter of the late James and Ellen Sheets Shaw and the wife of Howard C. Everhart. Barbara was a member of St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church in Camden. She enjoyed camping with her husband and traveling to the beach and the mountains. Above all, Barbara loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her children, Dwain Everhart (Sharon), Lesia Sagraves (Doug), Brian Everhart, and Jason Everhart; grandchildren, Christopher Everhart (Lauren), Derek Everhart (Ashley), Matthew Sagraves (Marisa), Brandon Sagraves (Katie), and Nathan Sagraves (Emma); great-grandchildren, Chase Everhart, Landon Everhart, Greyson Everhart, Brynlee Everhart, Gracie Everhart, Cohen Sagraves, and Cooper Sagraves; and siblings, Carolyn Clary (Frank), Mary Ann Conley (Jack), Mike Shaw (Maryanne), Darryl Shaw (Barbara), and Rod Shaw.   

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy Shaw, Kenny Shaw, Rayna Shaw, and Kathy Shaw.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Burial will follow the service in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Camden.
