Obituary of Patricia Abbott

COLUMBIA – Funeral service for Patricia Caskey Fredette Abbott, 84, will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Camden.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to PETSinc.org.

Ms. Abbott passed away at MUSC Downtown on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Charles Stanford and Ida Lee Smith Caskey.  She was a registered nurse and retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield.  She was a member of Seacoast Community Church in Columbia and the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her children, Pam Burch (Phillip) and Craig Fredette (Stephanie); sisters, Debbie Burgess and Tammy McGuire; grandchildren, Megan Davidson, Nick Burch (Kiara), Matt Burch (Kelli), Taylor Fredette Kim (Bryan) and Brooke Fredette Wilson (Logan); and great-grandchildren, Aiden Davidson, Addley Davidson, Taylor Burch, and Madison Burch.
