Obituary of Phillip "P.J." Guinn

 CAMDEN – A funeral service for Phillip Joseph “P.J.” Guinn, 40, will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kershaw County ALPHA Behavioral Center at 208 King Street Camden, SC 29020.

    P.J. passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Born in Augusta, GA, he was a son of Kent Crolley Guinn and Teresa Y. Bridges. P.J. enjoyed playing sports, learning baseball and football stats, and was an avid Atlanta Braves and Carolina Gamecock fan.

    Surviving are his daughter, Ava Caroline Sapp and her mother, Jennifer Sapp; mother, Teresa Yandle Bridges (David); father, Kent Guinn; siblings, Tabitha J. Lynch (Kevin), Ashley Greaver (Scott); and nieces, Miri Lynch and Taryn Lynch. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Jeter and Macey Guinn; and maternal grandparents, Richard and Delilah Yandle.
