Obituary of James Ward Foreman

 Ridgeway -A Funeral service for James Ward Foreman, 82, will be held Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery, Columbia. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Mr. Foreman died Monday, January 8, 2024. Born in Jacksonville, FL, he was the son of the late Ann Foreman. Mr. Foreman served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Army National Guard. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

James was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Arbie Lee Foreman; and sisters, Shirley Hughes and Linda Smallwood. James is survived by his sons, Michael Odum Foreman (Michelle) of Ridgeway, James Ward Foreman II (Yukie) of Alexandria Va; daughters, Sheri Lea Freeman (Bobby) of Columbia, Cynthia Ann Botts (Dominic) of Austin TX; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
