West Columbia – A service to celebrate the life of Ashley Elizabeth Smart Tucker, 36, will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Ashley passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Lexington Medical Center. Born in Columbia, S.C., she was the daughter of Daryl Leon Smart and Angela Worley Brimson. She enjoyed reading, watching reality T.V., photography and spending time with her boys.

Surviving are her husband, Pompey Alonzo Tucker; children, Cheyenne Tucker, Jaylen Tucker and Skyler Tucker; father Daryl Smart (Sasha) of Virginia; mother, Angela Brimson of Ridgeway; sister, Jeanne Smart; brother, Philip Clarkson; her loving in-laws, Henry and Albina Tucker; aunt, Tonya Worley; sister-in-law, Althea Benson (Darrell); and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving grandparents, Frank H. Worley Jr. and Rachel E. Worley.
