Obituary of Lucille Marshall Ward
LUGOFF – Graveside service for Lucille Marshall Ward, 89, will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Mrs. Ward, wife of the late James M. Ward, died Thursday, June 12, 2014. Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Clifton and Elizabeth Moseley Marshall. She was a member of Rowan Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna S. Ward of Lugoff; son, J. “Memp” Ward and Susan Speed of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ward Pierce, Melita Knapper, and Jason Owens; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Herbert Marshall and L.C. Marshall; and sisters, Lola Cardwell, Arcilla Williams, Melveree Hall, Elizabeth Smith and Thelma Croft.
