Obituary of Patricia McCray

    Patricia McCray, 67, of Bishopville, passed away on Friday, December 1^st, 2023. Born in Lee County, she was the daughter of the late Tony Moses and Betty McCray.  She loved to sew, and she enjoyed doing word search puzzles.  She was a great cook, loved her “Pittsburg Steelers, and was “Everybody’s Mama.” She loved her family and her numerous nephews and nieces, and they were all her favorites.

    Patricia is survived by her children, Elroy McCray, Leanna McCray, and Maggie McCray; grandchildren, L-Roy McCray Jr., Tashanna Harris, and Victor Jenkins Jr.; siblings, Leroy McCray (Lauvern), Mickey McCray (Louise), Sandra King (Donald), Yvonne Moses, Elaine Dukes, and Patrick Caldwell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

    In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by siblings; Maggie Bethea, Earnest McCray, Johnny Lee McCray, Alice Atkinson, and Carolyn Robinson.

    A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
