Obituary of Memory Joan Johnson Jordan

Memory J. Jordan 

LUGOFF- A celebration of life service for Memory Joan Johnson Jordan, 80, will be held Saturday, November 25 at 3:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home.  Lt. Thomas R. Watson, USNR, CHC (Ret.) will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorials in her honor may be made to the American Daylily Society. 

Mrs. Jordan went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2023. Born in Chesterfield County, she was the youngest of twelve, daughter of the late James Cordy and Kattie Howle Johnson.  Mrs. Jordan was a daylily grower and had a passion for flowers.  She was always eager to share with others her knowledge of gardening. 

Surviving are her husband, Robert “Bob” Jordan; son, Robert “Dan” Jordan (Carol); daughter, Vicki Lynn Hume (Skip); sister, Sarah “Sadie” Watson; and grandchildren, Alexander Jordan, Jonathan Hume, Amy Jordan, Adam Hume, and Ethan Hume.
