Obituary of Gina Carol Sutton

MYRTLE BEACH – A service to celebrate the life of Gina Carol Sutton, 55, will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Gina passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her home.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Carroll Sutton and Alice Catherine Cameron Hasbrouck.  She was formerly a beautician and owned and operated a salon in Lugoff, S.C. before moving to Myrtle Beach where she was a Realtor. Gina was a fun spirted lady that had a captivating personality.  To know her was to love her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Amber Rose Rabon of Myrtle Beach and Erika Lauren Hutzler (Andrew) of Hanahan, S.C.; grandson, Luke Andrew Hutzler; sister, Linda Hall (James) Lugoff; brother, Henry R. Powers Sr. (Rose) of Lugoff; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Sue Powers.
