Obituary of Donnie Branham

CAMDEN- A funeral service for Donald Lewis “Donnie” Branham, 78, will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ridgeway Ward, with burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery. Bishop Eric Sandberg will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers funeral Home.

    Mr. Branham passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023. Born in South Carolina, he was a son of the late John Lewis Branham and Mary Reynolds Branham. Mr. Branham was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Fraternal Order of the Woodmen of the World. He was a construction contractor and enjoyed his work, fishing, and going to auctions.

    Surviving are his wife, Diane Johnson Branham; siblings, Gayle Branham of Lugoff, Faith Hasty (Allen) of Lugoff, Jerry Branham (Brenda) of Kershaw; step-children, Christy Norris of Loris, Wes Strickland (Kendra) of Loris; 7 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by step-children, Donna Carol Branham, Shelly Tyler; and siblings, Margie Baker, Violet Smith and Bennie Branham.
