Obituary of Zachary Edward Stout

Zachary Edward Stout, 19, of Ridgeway, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Daryl Edward and Jennifer Combs Stout. Zach was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- Ridgeway Ward. He graduated from Midlands STEM Institute in Winnsboro in August of 2022. Zach loved video games and had planned to attend Midlands Tech for graphic design. He was a skilled artist and enjoyed drawing. Zach also had a passion for listening to music and was teaching himself to play the electric guitar. He enjoyed being with his father and helping him at drag races. Zach loved his siblings and was a great brother, always putting others before himself. He had a bright personality and loved making people laugh.

In addition to his parents, Zach is survived by his siblings, Madalyn Stout and Jacob Stout; his aunts, Amanda Malone (Rusty), Lisa Glisson (Keith), and Jennifer Fowler (Rodney); his maternal grandfather, William “Bill” Combs (Cathy); as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Zach was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Wendi Combs; and paternal grandparents, Gladys and James “Jimmy” Stout.

A gathering to celebrate Zach’s life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints- Ridgeway Ward.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Peds Oncology physicians, nurses, and the staff of CAMP KEMO at Prisma Children’s Hospital.
