LUGOFF – Robert Dale Hazel, 55, of Lugoff, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 22, 2012. Born in Jacksonville, FL, he was the son of the late Elizabeth A. Rogers Fedick and Richard M. Hazel. Robert was a member of Springvale Baptist Church and Colonel Kolb Hunting Club. He will be remembered as a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and a devoted family man. Surviving are his wife, Loretta; sons, James R (Tia) and R. Tyler (Brittany); brothers, Rick (Shirley) and Mike (Donna) Hazel; sisters, Jan Blanton (Mike) and Lori Hazel. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Springvale Baptist Church, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Pastors Todd Horton and Whitney Walters will officiate. The Family will receive friends in the Springvale Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, Lugoff, following the burial service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hazel’s Hope at Heritage Bank in Camden, SC.
