Obituary of Lloyd B. Hilton

ELGIN- A funeral service for Lloyd B. Hilton, 78, will be held Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Lugoff First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Doug Huntsinger will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

     Mr. Hilton passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Born in York County, he was a son of the late Beckham Hilton and Sue Lee Hendrix Hilton. Mr. Hilton was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, working on mission projects, building Sunday School rooms and painting at the church.

     Surviving are his wife, Martha Long Hilton; step-children, Ricky J. Kinard (Debbie), Barry E. Kinard; grandchildren, David Kinard (Elizabeth), Cody Kinard (Mary Katherine), Shyann Kinard; great-grandchildren, Jacob Kinard, Oliver Kinard; and his caregiver, Mary Smith.
