Obituary of Kahari James Brisbon

CAMDEN- A funeral Service for Kahari James Brisbon, 19, will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, https://supporting.afsp.org/.

     Kahari passed away on September 8, 2023. Born in Champaign, IL, he was a son of George Odell Brisbon, Jr. and Shannon Lea Leischner Brisbon. He enjoyed playing his PlayStation 5, hanging out with friends, bowling, playing pool, sports and fishing.

    Surviving are his parents, George and Shannon Brisbon of the home; siblings, Conner Jayne of Camden, Autumn Hellyer (David) of Indiana, India Brisbon of Florida; paternal grandparents, George Brisbon, Sr. (Lottie), Mabel Flemming (Charlie); maternal grandparents, Larry and Colleen Leischner; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, relatives and friends.
