Herbie was everyone's friend and his laughter I will always remember. When we got our bulletproof vest back in the 80's (nobody wanted to wear) he couldn't believe I wore mine. I am standing at the corner of Rutledge Street and Broad Street when Herbie parked his patrol car jumped out punched me and saying over and over "you are wearing your vest"; hehehe. Love you Herbie!
