Obituary of Robert Salmond

CAMDEN- A celebration of life service for Elias Robert Salmond, 59, will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Gregory Van Mallory will officiate.

Mr. Salmond passed away on August 27, 2023. Born in Camden, he was a son of Nancy Isaiah Salmond and the late Henry C. Salmond. Mr. Salmond enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

Surviving are his daughters, Ashley Lee (Dexter) of Camden, Jasmine Lee (Henry) of Camden; significant other of 13 years, Chameka Mobley; mother, Nancy I. Salmond of Camden; siblings, Henrietta Brotherson (Joseph), Johnny Salmond (Jackie), Ernest Salmond (Sabrina), Elizabeth Salmond, Ordessa Salmond; 5 grandchildren; Ky’ Essence, Jy’ Mere, Kedrick, Malachi, Elijah, a host of nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends.
