CAMDEN – Mrs. Carol Joyce Bacon, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2014. Born in Stamford, Conn., she was the daughter of the late Charles Z. and Theresa Daily Joyce. Mrs. Bacon received a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and cooking. Surviving are her daughters, Jean Schwarz (Robert) of Holland, Mich. and Dr. Alice J. Brooks (Bill) of Camden; grandchildren, Connie Sandel (Dave), Dawn Wesendahl (Thomas), and Dana Schwarz (Katie); and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Charles Joyce and Calvin Joyce. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to an Animal Shelter of one’s choice.
