I was in 4th grade with Steve at Washington School, Belvidere. Our teacher was Mrs. Buffington. She had one leg shorter than the other and wore a brace on it. I remember Steve saying in class that he was never going to get married. Mrs. Buffington just smiled and said, "you'll probably be the first one!" I always wondered what ever became of that.

Please accept my sincere condolences, I had no idea that Steve passed. I do remember the fun we had playing Softball and all the hours we spent together with Junior tackle. I consider Steve a great friend, and someone I will never forget, as his heart was always in the right place.

Please accept my sincere condolences. I had no idea My Friend Steve has passed. I think of the days playing ball with him and the time spent working with Jr. Tackle. I consider Steve a great friend I will never forget him! I remember Steve as a Man with a great caring heart as well.
