Obituary of Diane Joyner deLoach

Diane Joyner deLoach, 78, of Camden, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023. Born in Bethune, SC, she was the daughter of the late Bryce and Ida Threatt Joyner and the wife of the late John Kershaw deLoach, Jr. While her health allowed, Diane enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains, crafting, and working on Sudoku and other puzzles. She loved animals and had several pets throughout her life. Above all, she loved her family and was proud of her children.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Rabon Hill (Kevin); son, Clifton “Scott” Rabon; her brother, Philip Joyner (Joyce); her niece, Lori Brazell (David); nephews, Chris Joyner (Janice), Robert Joyner (Kari), and Shane Joyner (Elaine); as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, one great-great-niece, and her grand-dogs, Simon and Maverick.

In addition to her husband and parents, Diane was preceded in death by her brother, Bryce Dale Joyner.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Powers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Quaker Cemetery, Camden, SC.
