Larry Alexander Robinson Obituary

Larry Alexander Robinson, 78, of Camden, passed away on June 2, 2023 at Prisma Health Richland Hospital. Born on October 1, 1944, in Camden, SC, he was the son of the late Sidney and Ethel Robinson. Larry was a past member of Emmanuel Baptist and El Bethel churches. He was involved in the music ministry at both churches, using his voice to impact those around him and to tell his testimony. Larry was passionate about singing, music, horses, fast cars and fishing. He loved umpiring baseball games for the Kershaw County Recreation Department.




He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Thomas (Randy) and Nikki Stokes (Pete); his siblings, Harold Robinson (Becky) and Kay Cobb; sister-in-law, Diane Robinson; grandchildren, Brittany Rabon (Dalton) and Hunter McManus (Amelia); 5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.




In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his brother, Danny Robinson; a brother-in-law, Joe Cobb; and nephew, Joey Cobb.




The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring medical team at Prisma Health Hospital and Hospice.




The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service June 24, 2023 at 10:30 am at Powers Funeral Home.
