RIDGEWAY – Services for Robert Gene Williams, 79, will be private. Mr. Williams died Tuesday, May 6, 2014. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Colie and Edna Williams. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Palmetto Health Richland Hospital. He was a member of Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Lynn Grant Williams; sons, Steven Christopher Williams of Ridgeway and Charles Ricky Lusk of West Virginia; brother, Jimmy Williams of Sandy Run, S.C.; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
