Obituary of Latasha Jalisa Brown

ELGIN- A celebration of life service for Latasha Jalisa Brown, 30, will be held June 4, 2023 at 4:00 pm at International Praise Church of God. Bishop Doyle Roberts will officiate.

Latasha passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023. Born in Orangeburg, she was a daughter of Theodore and Lynn Lata Brown. Latasha attended International Praise Church of God. She enjoyed baking, reading, working out, and watching Grey’s Anatomy and Marvel Movies.

Latasha is survived by her daughter, Ziyana Brown of Elgin; parents, Theodore and Lynn Brown of Elgin; paternal grandmother, Clara Brown; maternal grandparents, Balu and Manju Patel; and siblings, Lateya Brown, Theodore Brown Jr., Jason New (Sara), Tyeshia Brown, and Latanya Black (Rasheeta); and several other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by paternal grandfather, Walter Lee Brown.
