Obituary of Jose Eduardo Figueroa - Conde

LUGOFF – A memorial mass for Jose Eduardo Figueroa - Conde, 79, will be celebrated on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Powers Funeral Home in Lugoff.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Father John Zimmerman will officiate.

Mr. Figueroa - Conde passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.  Born in Vieques, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Santiago Figueroa and Maria Conde.  Horse training was his passion, and he was a member of the Paso Fino Horse Association in the United States and in Puerto Rico.  His father brought the first Paso Fino Horse to the United States.

Surviving is his wife, Carla Patricia Figueroa - Munguia; children, Yamilet Ferguson, Jose Figueroa, Christian Figueroa, Daniel Figueroa and Martin Figueroa; step-son, Antonio Montano;brothers, Juan Ramon Figueroa, Julio Cesar Figueroa, Miguel Figueroa, Daniel Figueroa, Ita Figueroa, Rufino Figueroa, Juan Carlos Figueroa, Sandra Figueroa, Carlos Figueroa, Louis Figueroa, and Adriana Figueroa; grandchildren, Skyler Ferguson, Gabriela Ferguson and Garret Ferguson, Jaylin Figueroa, Kingston Figueroa, Lena Figueroa, Noah Figueroa and Julian Figueroa.
