Obituary of Sandy Howard Boykin, Jr.

LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Sandy H. Boykin, Jr., 46, will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Emanuel Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Boykin passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023.  Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Sandy H. Boykin, Sr. and Gwen Patricia Jenkins Boykin.  He enjoyed cooking, baking, and grooming his pets.  Mr. Boykin loved spending time with his family and friends and adored his dogs, Buckshot and Fred.

Surviving is his longtime friend, Ronnie King; and brothers, Kenny Boykin and Jimmy Boykin. He was predeceased by parents, Sandy H. Boykin, Sr. and Gwen Patricia Jenkins Boykin; and brother, Tony Boykin.
