Obituary of Peggy McKee Moore

Peggy Ann McKee Moore passed away on March 25, 2023. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert S. Moore, Sr.

Peggy loved her family and spent many years involved in her children and grandchildren’s lives. Prior to her diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease, she enjoyed singing, reading, working in the yard, her dogs, and taking family vacations to Holden Beach, NC.  

Peggy enjoyed her many friends while living in St. George, SC, Bethel, CT and Fayetteville, NC.

She was a member of St. George United Methodist Church.  

She had spent the past 5 years at Karesh Long Term Care. While there, she enjoyed playing bingo and joking around with the staff.

Peggy was loved by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She leaves behind 4 children, Robert S. Moore, Jr. (Karen), Allyson M. Alloway, (Dan), Lisa M. Carter (Lavoy) and Thomas R. Moore (Lori) and 13 grandchildren Chris Miller (Karina), Amy Taylor (Jeff), Sarah Moore, Jennifer Moore, Erin Quinlan (Evan), Michael Murray (Cristina), Jordan Carter (Juanita), Kelli Burt (Isaac), Craig Carter (Megan), Matt Moore (Jeannie), Becca Balser (Cam), David Moore (Anna), Megan Braunecker (Adam) and 18 great grandchildren Emma, Amari, Sadie, Lucy, Olive, Lily, Phoebe, Natalie, John Lee, Wynn, Violet, Marigold, Adair, Josie, Sarah, Eleanor, Charlie, and John David.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. The family would like to thank the many staff members at Karesh Long Term Care for the 5 years of care they provided to Peggy.
