Obituary of Robert Lee Scott, Jr.

Camden – A service to celebrate the life of Robert Lee Scott, 60, will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff with burial to follow at Deliverance Tabernacle Cemetery, Mt. Zion Road in Camden. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mr. Scott passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at MUSC Downtown, Columbia. Born in Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Scott Sr. and Eva Mae Morrell Scott. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He enjoyed Nascar, collecting Nascar memorabilia, and was a Dale Earnhardt fan.

Surviving are his sisters, Wanda and Husband Dennis Berry of Cassatt, and Wendy Colvin of Camden; a stepson, Larry Cobb, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Melissa B. Stokes, Jenny B. Proctor (Javin), Yancy Colvin (Molly), Christie C. Eubanks (Travis). He was predeceased by his parents and his son, Daniel Lee Scott.
