Obituary of Jody Lynch

CASSATT – A service to celebrate the life of Joseph Britton “Jody” Lynch, 53, will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to Camden High School Bulldog Club.

Mr. Lynch passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at MUSC Charleston.  Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Jessie James Lynch, Jr. and Marianne Williams Lynch.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was an avid Clemson fan.

Surviving are his children, Thomas Lynch of Columbia, Brittany Lynch of Camden, Austin Lynch of Cassatt and Cody Lynch of Camden; brothers, Rusty Lynch (Tammi) of Lugoff and Kevin Lynch (Tabby) of Lugoff; and the mother of his children, Dawn McGee.
